Speaker 1:

Welcome to this week's guided meditation. Take a moment now to make yourselves comfortable, find a comfortable seated position, or lie down if you prefer, making sure the body feels in line, and just allow yourself to settle into the space that you've set for yourself. When you're ready, lovingly close your eyes and begin to tune into the breath. And begin to tune into the breath, allowing each inhale to bring in a sense of calm and each exhale to allow any tension to melt away With each breath. Simply be here Now, slowly bringing our awareness to the centre of the mind, as if you're looking inward Into that space in the forehead. Imagine a small gentle candle flame here, flickering softly. This is your candle of clarity, a source of light and guidance within. Notice its glow, its warmth and its calm, steady presence. Observe the candle flame as it stands, tall and unwavering, casting its gentle light all around. Notice the way it brings clarity to everything it touches, illuminating the space within you. Let the flame's steady presence remind you of the peace and clarity that resides within you, even when things may feel uncertain or chaotic outside.

Speaker 1:

With each inhale that you take, imagine that you're gently fuelling the candle's light, strengthening it, allowing it to shine a little brighter and, with each exhale, just letting go of any cloudiness or confusion that may be lingering in the mind, just releasing, letting go trust. Feel yourself becoming lighter, clearer, as you connect more deeply with this steady flame. Visualise the light from your candle gently expanding, filling your entire mind with a soft and clear glow, allowing it to illuminate any shadows, doubts or fears, dissolving them effortlessly in its warmth. Feel this light sweeping through, bringing clarity, insight and a calm focus to the mind. Thank you.

Now simply rest in the presence of this light, feeling the clarity it brings, the gentle way it guides you back to a sense of centeredness, trusting that this inner flame of clarity is always available to you, a quiet, guiding light that can illuminate your path whenever you need it, letting it settle deeply within you and, when you feel ready, gently bring your awareness back to the body, start to wiggle your fingers and toes, allowing yourself to return slowly to the space around you. Carry this feeling of clarity and calm with you, knowing that your inner candle is always there to light the way. Take a deep breath and, when you feel ready, open your eyes. Thank you for joining me.
